ABOUT VIRUDHUNAGARGAVEL CLUB
Public speaking is one of the most demanded skills in the current World. As an act of gifting this skill to the people of Virudhunagar, Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club, Virudhunagar was installed in January, 2016. The club has been authorised by The Toastmasters International, California. Many from Virudhunagar reap the benefits of this elite forum. However, one under 18 years of age is not eligible to gain membership with Toastmasters Clubs. To benefit individuals under 18 years of age, Toastmasters International offers Gavel Clubs as an option. Thereby, Virudhunagar Gavel Club, Virudhunagar was started in October, 2015 by the members of Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club. Today, the club lodges 27 students from various schools of Virudhunagar. The students practise Public speaking skills and Leadership skills in a professional mode. The formal meetings of the club are conducted on all Tuesdays between 05:10 PM and 07:10 PM at Poornam Porkodi Cultural Academy, Virudhunagar.
