VIRUDHUNAGAR GAVEL CLUB

      Hall of fame is a great momentous awards programme from the district 82 to identify and recognize the best of the best members from 200 toastmasters club and 4000 members. Our ardent toastmaster Tm Rajavalli is the proud recipient of the most prestigious award "Excellence in Mentoring" for her exceptional mettle in mentoring Virudhunagar Gavel Club.
      TM Rajavalli, Secretary of Virudhunagar Toastmasters club is the mentor and counselor of the first Gavel club in Tamilnadu the Virudhunagar Gavel Club (VGC). Virudhunagar Gavel Club was started on Oct 2015 with the motive of inculcating the art of public speaking and leadership skills among the Young Minds of Virudhunagar. VGC consist of 27 Vibrant Gaveliers from 10 schools in Virudhunagar. The students who have a passion towards public speaking are identified to form the VGC.

      TM Rajavalli is an ardent toastmaster with innovative brains and determined heart. When few said starting a gavel club and successfully running it is a herculean task and it would not be possible. She had a great vision for it and her never give up attitude made impossible possible. The VGC is now fruitfully functioning every Tuesdays for the past 7 months and the gaveliers are proceeding in a steady pace in completing their CC & CL projects. These gaveliers are the inspiration to the others students of their school in Public speaking.

      TM Rajavalli, as a mentor very keen about the progress and improvements of each and every gavelier. She meticulously evaluates the development in gaveliers performance and gives feedback on it at the end of every meet. She motivates the Gaveliers by presenting special awards like ‘I Love Tuesdays’ & ‘Most Transformed Speaker’ every month. In spite of her busy personal & professional life she never fails to give her presence in gavel meet.

      She also recognizes the best Gaveliers by arranging for the contest. The contest for Prepared Speech Contest, Table topics Contest & Evaluation Contest had been held and winners are awarded. She also arranges for the educational session by experienced Toastmasters to mould the gaveliers into best public speakers. Her efforts and time spend on the enhancement of gaveliers is appreciable.
